Members will remember Dr Lonsdale who stepped in to cover for a speaker cancellation last February and did his whole talk without the aid of his slides.  The audience were extremely taken with his unassuming manner almost brushing aside his role with the World Health Organisation running courses for doctors and trainees in medicine and the use and overuse of various drugs in such areas as Malawi, Australia, Somalia, Pakistan, Iran, Gaza, India and various Russian states.

Dr Lonsdale is returning to show us his slides and hopefully also tell us a little of his mother, herself a remarkable person.
