Professor Andrew Price is a marine biologist, environmental consultant and writer.
His experience over five decades has covered all three oceans, particularly the Indian Ocean.
Andrew gave us a talk in April 2026 on the Chagos Islands.

This talk recounts the construction of an ancient Arab sailing vessel and the voyage across the Indian Ocean to China (once becalmed for 55 days).  It also shows what it was like being resident marine biologist and diving on pristine coral reefs in offbeat places.  This led to the discovery of species new to science - the collections lodged at London’s Natural History Museum.
